Higgsfield raised $138 million, is valued at $1.3 billion, and has 15+ AI models. We're a small team. But when we tried Higgsfield to produce ads in Spanish, we realized something: having lots of models doesn't solve the problem of making an ad that sounds local.

This is an honest comparison. There are things Higgsfield does better than us. But if what you need is to produce UGC ads in Spanish, the difference matters.

What each platform is

Higgsfield is an AI video model aggregator. Founded by Alex Mashrabov (ex-Head of Generative AI at Snap) in 2023, it gives you access to Kling 3.0, Sora 2, Veo 3, WAN, Minimax, and others under one subscription. You can create anything: artistic clips, product videos, cinematic content. It's a Swiss army knife.

Novoads is the opposite: a tool built for one job. We created the platform to solve a specific problem we had as advertisers working in Spanish. We needed UGC videos with actors who spoke Chilean, Mexican, or Castilian Spanish, and nothing did it well. Today we have 5 models (Sora 2, Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, OmniHuman 1.5) and a workflow that goes from script to publishable video without leaving the platform.

The models: does having 15+ matter?

When we tried Higgsfield, we ended up using 3 out of 15 models: Kling, Sora 2, and Veo 3. The rest weren't useful for producing ads. WAN gives inconsistent results. Minimax has decent quality but users on Trustpilot report queue times of 10-20 minutes. Soul V2 is Higgsfield's own model, but the quality doesn't compete with Kling or Sora.

Pricing: what you actually pay

Both platforms use credits, but one credit isn't worth the same on each.

The issue is that cost per video varies wildly. A Kling video uses ~6 credits. Sora 2 uses 40-70. So the Creator plan's 500 credits give you between 7 and 83 videos. The gap is huge and it's hard to predict your monthly spend.

Another thing: several Trustpilot users report unexpected charges and difficulty canceling subscriptions. Not everyone's experience, but worth knowing.

Our cost per video:

The Inicial plan gets you 5-22 videos per month. Less than Higgsfield in raw volume. But each video comes with voice, avatar, and ready to upload to Meta or TikTok. No editing needed.

Our verdict

Higgsfield is a bigger platform with more models and a lower entry price. If you produce content in English or need creative flexibility, it's hard not to recommend it.

But we built Novoads because Higgsfield (and every other platform) didn't solve our problem: producing ads in Spanish that sound real, with local accents, without bouncing between 3 different tools to get a publishable video.
