Creatify Review for Ads: Ad Agent, User Ratings, and Who It Fits
Creatify fits marketers who start from a product link and want ads made by chat. It fits less well if you need the agent's cost before it renders, or a refund. A review built from Creatify's dated pages and public ratings.

By Creatify's own account, ads now start in a chat
Creatify's help center lists 15 articles under Creative Tools, and the first one is not URL-to-video, the paste-a-product-link tool that sits second. It is Ad Agent. That order is Creatify's own. The article behind it, updated October 4, 2026, opens with one line: "Ad Agent is Creatify's AI assistant for making video ads by chat, and it's now the main way to create ads in Creatify."
The verdict, up front: Creatify fits a marketer who starts from a product link or a few photos, wants one agent to write, render and revise the ad in a single thread, and wants competitor tracking and media buying in the same account. It fits less well if you need to know what the agent will spend before it renders, or if a refund matters to you. Creatify's own help pages describe agent credit use as variable and payments as final.
How this review was built: we have not used Creatify hands-on. Everything said about Creatify below comes from its own dated pages and from public ratings read on a named date. The Novoads side comes from our own render of the same kind of ad.
What Creatify sells now, and what changed in 2026
Creatify sells AI-made video ads and the tools around them. Its help center still documents URL-to-video, avatar video, batch mode and custom avatars beside the agent. What moved this year is the front door.
The handover from Creative Agent, by Creatify's account
The Ad Agent article is plain about the handover: "It replaces Creative Agent." It also says Ad Agent works the same basic way, "describe it, generate it, refine it," and that "The Plan/Auto and Pro/Lite switches are gone." Instead of setting modes, you tell the agent what you need in words.
The article shows only an update date, October 4, 2026, not a launch date, so that update is the date this review gives for Ad Agent.
Creatify's own site still uses the older names in places. On October 22, 2026, its homepage menu still listed "Creative Agent", and that link led to a feature page titled "Creatify Agent". The older help article still describes Creative Agent as "an AI-powered conversational video creation tool that lets you build videos through chat and prompts."
What 2026 added around the agent
Creatify's own pages date each change:
- April 15, 2026: AdFlow, which the launch post calls "a node-based visual pipeline editor inside Creatify."
- End of May 2026: AI Shorts, Product Video and Video Translation left the dashboard. The FAQ, dated September 20, 2026, says they remain available through direct links.
- June 18, 2026: AI Media Buyer, "an AI advertising agent inside Creatify that connects to your ad accounts and runs them."
- September 15, 2026: Boreal, Creatify's own video model, launched under the headline "frontier-quality AI video at a cent a second". Creatify's API changelog also lists Boreal-H3, which it calls its "post-trained H3 model", under September 2026. Our Creatify Boreal breakdown covers the model itself.
- By October 4, 2026: Ad Agent, which replaces Creative Agent, according to its help article updated that day.
The tools that did not move
URL-to-video still sits second in that Creative Tools list. On the pricing page, read October 21, 2026, even the cheapest paid card, Standard, lists "All creation tools" and "300 Realistic AI Actors". Avatar video, batch mode and custom avatars each keep their own help article. So the agent is the main way in by Creatify's account, not the only one.

What Creatify does well for ads
It starts from the product you already sell
Ad Agent can start from a link or from files. The help article lists three ways in: "Paste a product URL, upload photos or videos", or ask it to use a saved product. Creatify's agent feature page, still titled Creatify Agent, goes further: "Drop a Shopify, Amazon, or App Store URL and the agent imports your brand, imagery, copy, and pricing in seconds." For a store with dozens of product pages, starting from the listing instead of a written brief is the practical draw.
The same feature page splits the agent into two surfaces: a chat for everyone and a canvas "for pros". It is clear about which one most people meet: "Drop a link, type an idea, or pick a skill. We research your category, write the script, lock your persona, generate the music, and send back finished ads. Most people start here."
You can check the script before it renders
The help article says you can ask Ad Agent to "draft the concept/script first, don't generate yet." That one instruction matters more than it looks: a script you reject is caught before any video is generated.
After a render, editing stays in the thread:
- Ask for changes in plain words, or "leave comments at specific timestamps on a video and send them all as one edit request".
- Each result lands in the chat and in Projects as a numbered take, and "You'll also get an email when your takes are ready."
- The article also says "Ad Agent has a native iOS app where you can chat, attach files, and view your creatives." That claim rests on this one help article.
It wraps the ad in the work around it
Creatify sells more than the render. Around the video, its own pages list:
- A competitor ad tracker over "10M+ Meta ads" and Ad Clone, which remakes an ad from a URL, both on the Pro card of the pricing page read October 21, 2026.
- AI Media Buyer, which connects to ad accounts and runs them.
- "One-click integration with Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, Snap Ads, AppLovin, OpenAI Ads, Shopify, and GA4," on the Performance Agent page.
- An MCP page, titled "Make AI ads that ship from your Agent", that walks through connecting Creatify to ChatGPT.
- "100+ premium models" on the same Pro card, naming Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 and Kling 3.0 Pro.
Reviewers notice the speed. Product Hunt's AI summary of its Creatify reviews, read October 22, 2026, opens: "Reviewers mostly say Creatify is fast, easy to learn, and useful for turning a product URL or rough idea into polished video ads".
Where Creatify falls short
The agent's bill comes after the work
Creatify's credit article, dated August 19, 2026, says the platform shows the exact cost before you render for most tools. The exceptions are the tools this review is about:
- Agent, AdFlow and Ad Clone: "Credit consumption is variable and cannot be determined upfront", and the article asks users to "please use these tools mindfully, as credits can add up quickly".
- Ad Agent: it "usually costs fewer credits, but the cost depends on what you ask it to make," per its own article.
- AdFlow: "AdFlow has a higher credit consumption compared to our other tools," and "There is no option to stop a generation once it has started," per its article dated September 14, 2026.
- Every credit: "Credits expire after 2 months," per the pricing page.
Our reading: for a team that budgets per ad, the main way in is also the one whose cost you learn last.
Payments are final, and Ad Agent is listed under Pro
The refund policy, dated August 23, 2026, says "payments are final and non-refundable". You can cancel, and Creatify says it will make sure "your plan stops renewing so there are no future charges".
The pricing page lists "Ad Agent + Automations" under Pro, in the block that begins "Everything in Standard, plus". The Standard card also says "1 generation at a time". If the help center's main way in is the reason you are buying, check which plan carries it before you pay.
Its own pages disagree
Two pairs of lines on Creatify's own pages do not match:
- Languages: the help FAQ, dated September 20, 2026, says "Creatify supports 29 languages", while the FAQ on the pricing page says "Creatify supports 75+ languages".
- Free credits: the same help FAQ says "The free plan provides 10 credits" in one answer and that "you will receive 5 free credits every month" in another.
Before you plan a launch around one of these lines, check the page it came from and its date.
The ratings, with their counts
| Where | Score | Reviews | Date |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trustpilot | 3.7 | 842 | Oct 21, 2026 |
| Product Hunt | 4.3 | 54 | Oct 21, 2026 |
| G2, as Creatify reports it | 4.8 | 1,511 | Jun 10, 2026 |
The Trustpilot split is the useful part. The profile, read October 21, 2026, showed:
- 76% of reviews at five stars and 18% at one star, with under 1% each at two and three stars.
- 139 of the 842 reviews posted in the previous 12 months.
- Two labels, "Asks customers to review" and "Hasn't replied to negative reviews", under Trustpilot's own note that it does not fact-check reviews.
Product Hunt's AI summary, read October 22, 2026, names the complaints its reviewers repeat: "confusing credit use, credits expiring, limited control over fine scene, script, and voice adjustments, and occasional weak outputs." It adds that "a smaller but sharp group reports poor video quality and especially frustrating billing and no-refund experiences." Those are reviewers' reports. The refund rule itself is Creatify's, quoted above.
The G2 row is Creatify's own figure. Its June 10, 2026 blog post says "1,511 verified reviews at the time of writing. 4.8/5 stars." G2 answered our fetchers with an error on October 21, 2026, so we could not check the number there.
Our reading: a 76 to 18 split with almost nothing in the middle says buyers tend to get what they came for, or hit a billing or output problem. Read the one-star reviews for the second group before you commit to an annual plan.
What Creatify costs, in brief
Creatify's cheapest paid plan, Standard, showed $15 a month on monthly billing for 55 credits when its pricing page was read on October 21, 2026, and the page loads with its annual switch on, which shows a lower monthly figure. Its credit article prices video ads and avatar videos at "5 credits per 15 seconds of video (rounded up)". Every plan, the annual switch and a 30-second ad priced on each are in our Creatify pricing breakdown.
Who Creatify fits, and who should look elsewhere
Choose Creatify when:
- Your ads start from product pages or app listings, and you want the agent to pull brand, images and copy from the link.
- You want research and buying in one account: the competitor tracker, Ad Clone, AI Media Buyer and the ad-account connections.
- You work from an iPhone, or from ChatGPT through Creatify's MCP connection.
- You run many variations and can absorb agent costs that you see after the run.
Look elsewhere when:
- You need each ad's cost before it renders, or a refund if a month goes badly.
- You want the agent on the cheapest paid plan; the pricing page lists it under Pro.
- An actor library matters more to you than an agent. Arcads vs Creatify weighs that trade.
- You want an avatar-first tool. HeyGen vs Creatify compares the two meters.

How Novoads makes the same UGC-style ad
Novoads makes the same kind of UGC-style ad from a script and an AI actor, and bills it by the started minute.
One run, start to finish
On October 5, 2026, one call through the Novoads connector turned a 22.6-second script into a talking-actor ad in 2 minutes 31 seconds. The actor was Bárbara, from the library, at a desk in a home office, rendered at 720p in a vertical frame. The script pitched a reporting tool: "I was spending three hours every week building reports by hand." The render cost 200 credits, one started minute, the same as a full 30-second ad, and a local transcription heard the script back word for word.
Talking actor · library actor Bárbara reads a 23-second script about a tool that builds her weekly reports, made through the Novoads connector · 200 credits, one started minute at 720p · rendered 2026-10-05
What the same ad costs here
A talking actor in Novoads costs 200 credits per started minute at 720p:
- This 23-second ad, a 30-second ad and a 60-second ad all cost the same 200 credits.
- That is $9.80 of a Plus plan ($49 for 1,000 credits), or a whole Starter month ($15 for 200).
- The 480p option halves it to 100 credits.
Creatify meters avatar video at 5 credits per 15 seconds, so a single 30-second talking ad comes out cheaper on its meter than on ours, on every Creatify plan. The dollar math is in the pricing breakdown linked above.
Product shots and b-roll run on other models in Novoads, from about 25 cents for a five-second Seedance 2.0 Mini clip to about $4 for an eight-second Google Veo 3.1 clip, and about $10 for a full 30-second Seedance 2.5 take. Kling v3 Pro, Kling Motion Control and Omni Flash sit in the same account. Product-to-Ad turns an uploaded product photo into an ad image for 1 credit; it starts from the photo, not from a product link.
Our Instagram Reels ads page lays out how that same toolkit maps onto one placement:

Where Creatify covers more
If you want the whole loop in one account, from competitor research to launching and buying media, Creatify's own pages describe more of it than this review shows for Novoads. That is a fair reason to choose it. The Novoads case is narrower: the ad itself, priced per model, on a plan ladder published at /pricing. You can see the two products feature by feature on Novoads vs Creatify.
Judge an ad agent by its bill, not its chat
Creatify's move to Ad Agent makes the start of an ad easier to describe, and its tracker, cloner and media buyer cover more of the advertising loop than a plain generator does. What a buyer lives with is the meter: agent credits you learn after the run, credits that expire after two months, and payments that are final.
The chat decides how an ad starts. The meter decides whether you can afford the tenth one. Price one ad you would actually run on each tool before you commit a month, and our Novoads and Creatify comparison is a good place to set them side by side.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Creatify free?
Creatify has a free plan. Its pricing page, read October 21, 2026, says the free plan includes 10 monthly credits, enough to create up to 2 video ads or 20 image ads, and that exports on it include a watermark. Paid plans start with Standard; our Creatify pricing breakdown lists every plan as read that day.
Is Creatify worth it for video ads?
It is worth a look if your ads start from product pages and you want one account for making, tracking and buying ads: Ad Agent starts from a product URL, and the Pro plan adds a competitor ad tracker and Ad Clone. It is a weaker fit if you need an ad's cost before the agent renders, because Creatify says agent credit use is variable, or if you may need a refund, because its policy says payments are final and non-refundable.
What is Creatify's Ad Agent?
Ad Agent is Creatify's chat assistant for making video ads. Its help article, updated October 4, 2026, calls it 'the main way to create ads in Creatify' and says it replaces Creative Agent. You describe the ad, and it writes the concept and script, renders the video and keeps editing from your feedback. Creatify's pricing page lists it under the Pro plan.
How do users rate Creatify?
On October 21, 2026, Trustpilot showed Creatify at 3.7 from 842 reviews, with 76% five-star and 18% one-star reviews, and Product Hunt showed 4.3 from 54 reviews. Creatify's own blog cites a 4.8 G2 rating from 1,511 reviews as of June 10, 2026; G2 blocked our fetchers, so we could not confirm that figure on G2.
Can you get a refund from Creatify?
Creatify's refund policy, dated August 23, 2026, says payments are final and non-refundable. You can cancel at any time, and Creatify says it will make sure the plan stops renewing so there are no future charges.
