Higgsfield Pricing in 2026: Four Plan Lineups by Region and Device

What Higgsfield charges depends on where and how you look: its pricing code picks one of four plan lineups by region tier and device, from a 70-credit Basic at €5 on phones to a 270-credit Starter at €19 on T1 desktops, as served to a Spanish address on October 19, 2026.

One pricing page, four different price lists

On October 19, 2026, Higgsfield's server tagged our desktop visit from Spain as price tier T1, and the pricing page's code asked for a plan list that opens on Starter: 270 credits a month for €19. Load the same page in a phone browser and the same code asks for a different list. Its first plan is Basic, at 70 credits for €5.

Higgsfield does not have one price list. Its pricing code picks one of four plan lineups from two inputs: the region price tier its server assigns your visit, and whether your browser is a desktop or a phone. An offer link or a running pricing test can override both. So any Higgsfield price is only true for the visitor who was shown it, on the day it was read.

Every price below is scoped that way. It is what Higgsfield's own plans API served to a Spanish address on October 19, 2026, in euros, and it was unchanged when we read it again on October 20. Dollar figures appear only where a dated Higgsfield page prints them.

A disclosure, and our method. We make Novoads, an AI UGC ad tool that competes with Higgsfield for some of the same buyers. For this post we read Higgsfield rather than bought it: from Spain, with a desktop browser's user agent, we fetched the pricing page, the code it loads and the plans API that code calls. We did not buy a plan or render a paid video on Higgsfield, and we could not see what a visitor in the United States is served.

How Higgsfield picks your lineup: the desktop map

Three tiers, three desktop lineups

The tier lives in a cookie called hf-tier, which Higgsfield's server sets in its response to the pricing page. On October 19 and again on October 20, 2026, it set ours to T1 on desktop requests from Spain. The pricing code then looks the tier up in a map. In the code that ran on both days, the desktop map reads:

  • T1 loads the plan set Higgsfield's code calls ps_a3.
  • T2 loads the set called default.
  • T3 loads the set called max_v1.

We could not establish which countries Higgsfield places in T2 or T3. The only assignment we saw was a Spanish address given T1, so this post names no country lists. We also read the map only as it ran on those two days, so we cannot say when Higgsfield first introduced it.

Phones and tablets get their own set

The function that reads the map has one exception built in. When the browser is not a desktop, it skips the map and returns a fourth set, max_v2, whatever the tier. Higgsfield's device check treats any browser that identifies as Android, iPhone, iPad, iPod or "Mobile" as not a desktop.

So by default a phone is handed the same lineup in every tier, and it is a lineup the desktop map never hands out. Comparing prices with a colleague on a different kind of device compares two different price lists.

Offers, tests and missing cookies

The map is the default route, not a promise. Higgsfield's plan-set code checks three things around it:

  • An offer. An offer plan set wins first. It can come from a pricing link that carries an fpr code, or from an offer attached to your account.
  • A pricing test. Without an offer, a visitor placed in the test arm of Higgsfield's pricing experiment gets max_v1 or a fifth set, max_v3, whatever the tier.
  • No tier yet. A missing or invalid tier cookie counts as T3, which on desktop means max_v1. And until the browser has read the cookie at all, the page asks for default.

So a T1 desktop gets ps_a3 only when no offer and no test arm applies. Two visitors in the same city, on the same kind of laptop, can still be shown different plans.

The four lineups, as Higgsfield's plans API served them

Each plan set is a list that Higgsfield's plans API returns by name. We requested all four on October 19, 2026 from a Spanish address, and the API answered with country code ES and prices in euros. Here are the first three plans of each, at monthly billing:

LineupWho the code hands it toEntry planMiddle planTop plan, first size
ps_a3T1 desktopsStarter: 270 credits, €19Plus: 1,200 credits, €59Ultra: 3,000 credits, €129
defaultT2 desktopsStarter: 200 credits, €15Plus: 1,000 credits, €49Ultra: 3,000 credits, €129
max_v1T3 desktops, no tier cookieBasic: 120 credits, €9Pro: 600 credits, €29Max: 1,800 credits, €79
max_v2Phones and tabletsBasic: 70 credits, €5Pro: 600 credits, €29Max: 1,800 credits, €79

ps_a3, the T1 desktop lineup

Starter is 270 credits at €19 a month, and annual billing doesn't lower it: the annual Starter also works out to €19 a month, €228 a year. Plus is 1,200 credits at €59 a month, or €47 a month billed annually. Ultra starts at 3,000 credits for €129 a month or €99 a month billed annually. It also comes in 6,000 and 9,000 credit sizes at €220 and €310 for the first month, renewing at €250 and €375.

default, the T2 desktop lineup

Starter is 200 credits at €15 a month, again with no annual saving. Plus is 1,000 credits at €49 a month, or €39 a month billed annually. Ultra matches the T1 set size for size and euro for euro.

Higgsfield's own blog prints this ladder's numbers in dollars. Its guide dated October 18, 2026, with prices verified that month, says the Starter plan at $15 a month gives you 200 credits, Plus at $49 raises that to 1,000, and Ultra at $129 gives you 3,000, "scalable up to 9,000". Its September 15 guide adds the annual figures: $39 a month for Plus and $99 for Ultra. That is why a reader quoting the guide and a reader looking at a T1 pricing page can both be right, and still disagree by 70 credits on Starter.

This set opens on Basic: 120 credits at €9 a month, with no annual saving. Pro comes in two sizes: 600 credits at €29 a month (€23 billed annually) and 900 credits at €43 (€34 billed annually). Max starts at 1,800 credits for €79 a month or €59 billed annually. Its 3,600 and 5,400 credit sizes cost €139 and €199 for the first month, renewing at €158 and €237.

max_v2, the phone lineup

The phone set shares the Max sizes and the 600-credit Pro of max_v1, at the same prices, but opens on a smaller Basic: 70 credits for €5 a month. It is the only lineup of the four whose cheapest plan costs less than €9.

What every lineup shares

Three parts of the price list don't move with the tier or the device:

  • Team and Scale. The business plans are identical in all four sets. Team is 1,000 credits for €69 for the first month, renewing at €79, or €65 a month billed annually. Scale is 2,500 credits for €169.01 a month, or €150.01 a month billed annually.
  • First-month prices. Where a monthly price sits below its renewal price, the API marks the gap as a one-time discount. Higgsfield's help centre says the same of promo prices in general: from the next billing cycle, your subscription renews at the standard plan price.
  • Taxes on top. Higgsfield says the price on its pricing page doesn't include taxes, and that local taxes are added at checkout based on your billing address.

What a 30-second 1080p Seedance 2.5 ad costs on each lineup

The entry plans cannot run it

No lineup's cheapest plan includes Seedance 2.5. Higgsfield's Seedance help article, dated August 1, 2026, says Seedance 2.5 is available on Pro and Plus plans and above and isn't included in Starter and Basic. Its October 18 guide describes Starter as selected models only, "such as Seedance 2.0 Fast and Seedance 2.0 Mini".

So on every lineup, the first plan that can render this ad is the middle one: Plus on the two Starter lineups, Pro on the two Basic lineups. If the model is new to you, our explainer on what Seedance 2.5 does covers it, and our Higgsfield vs Seedance comparison covers the plan gate in more depth.

Higgsfield's own per-second numbers

Higgsfield shows the exact credit cost of a generation on the Generate button before you confirm, and that button is the only current figure. What its posts have published for Seedance 2.5 at 1080p are two dated rates that disagree:

  • 9 credits a second. Its September 15, 2026 guide prices an eight-second 1080p take at 72 credits. At that rate, a 30-second take is 270 credits.
  • 18 credits a second. Its August 14, 2026 ChatGPT guide logged a 15-second 1080p video at 270 credits, which makes 30 seconds 540 credits. In the same guide, a 30-second cinematic take cost exactly that, 540 credits, without a stated resolution.

Until your own Generate button says otherwise, budget a 30-second 1080p take at 270 to 540 credits.

The same take on each lineup

Price those credits at each lineup's middle plan, billed monthly, and the lineups land within a euro of each other:

  • ps_a3 (T1 desktop), Plus: 1,200 credits for €59 buy two to four takes a month, at €13.28 to €26.55 each.
  • default (T2 desktop), Plus: 1,000 credits for €49 buy one to three, at €13.23 to €26.46 each.
  • max_v1 (T3 desktop), Pro: 600 credits for €29 buy one or two, at €13.05 to €26.10 each. The 900-credit Pro buys one to three, at €12.90 to €25.80.
  • max_v2 (phones), Pro: the same 600 credits for €29, so one or two takes at €13.05 to €26.10.

The pattern holds across the first three plans of every lineup. Per credit, each entry plan costs 7.0 to 7.5 euro cents, each middle plan 4.8 to 4.9 (3.8 to 3.9 billed annually) and each top plan's first size 4.3 to 4.4. The lineups differ in how many credits they make you buy at once, not in what a credit costs.

Retries move the bill more than the lineup does. Higgsfield's September 15 guide says a usable clip, in its own testing, typically takes three to five generations. At its two published rates, one keeper 30-second ad therefore needs 810 to 2,700 credits, and the top of that range is more than any lineup's middle plan holds. Our guide to ad creative testing explains why a test needs several keepers rather than one.

Where the bigger plans start to pay

The top plans buy the same take for a little less, because their credits cost less:

  • Ultra at 3,000 credits (T1 and T2 desktops): €129 a month buys five to eleven takes, at €11.61 to €23.22 each.
  • Max at 1,800 credits (T3 desktops and phones): €79 a month buys three to six, at €11.85 to €23.70 each.
  • Annual billing on the middle plans: about €10.20 to €10.58 a take at 270 credits, and €20.40 to €21.15 at 540.

A team that needs more than one keeper 30-second ad a month is past every middle plan even at the low rate, since two keepers take at least 1,620 credits. For that team the real choice is which top plan to buy, not whether to start on Starter or Plus.

The same take in Novoads

Novoads is an AI UGC video-ad generator: upload a product image or write a script, pick an AI actor, and get an ad-ready video. In Novoads, a 30-second Seedance 2.5 take at 1080p costs 360 credits, 12 a second, which sits between the two rates Higgsfield has published. Since September 20, 2026 one Novoads credit is one Higgsfield credit, so the counts compare directly.

Novoads starts at $15/month (Starter, 200 credits per month). Plus is $49/month (1,000 credits), and Ultra starts at $129/month (3,000 credits) for more volume. All plans are published on novoads.ai/pricing.

That puts two 1080p takes in a Plus month and eight in an Ultra month, while Starter's 200 credits don't cover one. Drop to the default 720p and the same 30-second take is 210 credits, about $10. Novoads' pricing page lists what each plan buys model by model, with the credits per output, and our Novoads vs Higgsfield comparison sets the two tools side by side.

How to tell which lineup you are looking at

Read the first plan card

The entry plan gives each lineup away:

  • Starter at 270 credits: the T1 desktop set, ps_a3.
  • Starter at 200 credits: the T2 desktop set, default, the one Higgsfield's blog quotes in dollars.
  • Basic at 120 credits: the T3 desktop set, max_v1, which is also what a desktop with no tier cookie gets.
  • Basic at 70 credits: the phone set, max_v2.

Without an offer link, a Starter, Plus and Ultra ladder means a T1 or T2 desktop. A Basic, Pro and Max ladder on a desktop means T3, a missing tier cookie, or a place in the pricing test.

Switch devices and you may switch lineups, because without an offer or a test arm the code hands every phone and tablet browser the same phone set. A pricing link with an fpr code in it can carry an offer that replaces the lineup entirely. To compare prices with someone else, compare on the same kind of device, without offer links, and expect a different list if they browse from a different tier.

Wait a month before you pay for a year

Annual billing is where the middle and top plans get cheaper, and Higgsfield makes it a one-way door. Its help centre says you can switch from monthly to annual billing at any time, with immediate effect and a prorated charge, but that switching from annual back to monthly is not available: an annual plan runs until the end of its paid year.

The refund rules don't soften that. Refunds cover initial purchases only, within 7 days or as local law permits, and only if no credits have been used, and renewals aren't refundable. So the cheapest way to learn your real cost per ad is one monthly cycle on the lineup you are shown, then the switch.

Budget on the checkout you will pay at

Higgsfield's help centre says its pricing page always shows the current plans and prices. So the page you are shown, on the device you will pay from, is the one to budget on. Then make three corrections before you commit:

  1. Taxes. Add local tax for your billing address.
  2. Renewals. Check whether the monthly price is a first-month discount that renews higher.
  3. Your working model. Read its per-second cost on the Generate button, then multiply by your retry rate.

For the general method of turning credits into a cost per ad, see our explainer on how AI video credits work.

Price the lineup you are shown, not the one you read about

Higgsfield's case is range. Its September 15 guide says one credit balance covers more than 30 frontier models for video, image and audio. A team that makes stills, characters and cinematic shots alongside its ads gets more from that one balance than from a tool built only for ads, and our Higgsfield review for ads and list of Higgsfield alternatives for ad creative weigh that trade.

The pricing lesson is narrower. A Higgsfield price is a fact about one visitor on one day. Read the lineup on the device and from the country you will pay from, then price the ad in credits per keeper, not the plan in euros per month.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Higgsfield cost?

It depends on the lineup Higgsfield's pricing page serves you, which its code picks by region tier and device. Read from Spain on October 19, 2026, in euros, the entry plan ran from Basic at €5 a month for 70 credits (the phone lineup) to Starter at €19 for 270 credits (T1 desktops), with Starter at €15 for 200 and Basic at €9 for 120 on the other two desktop lineups. In dollars, Higgsfield's own guide dated October 18, 2026 says the Starter plan at $15 a month gives you 200 credits, with Plus at $49 for 1,000 credits and Ultra at $129 for 3,000, the same numbers as its T2 lineup. Taxes are added at checkout.

Why does Higgsfield show me a different price than someone else?

Because its pricing code chooses the lineup. On desktop, a tier cookie its server sets (T1, T2 or T3) maps to a plan set: T1 to a lineup with a 270-credit Starter, T2 to one with a 200-credit Starter, T3 to a Basic, Pro and Max lineup. A browser that identifies as a phone or tablet gets a fourth lineup whatever its tier. An offer link or an offer on your account wins over the map, a visitor in Higgsfield's pricing test can be moved to another set, and a missing tier cookie counts as T3. We could not establish which countries fall in which tier; our visits from Spain were tagged T1.

Does Higgsfield have a free plan or a free trial?

A free tier, but no trial. Higgsfield's help centre says you can generate without a paid plan, but access is limited to a small set of models and doesn't include credits, and that there's no trial period. Generations on a free account carry a Higgsfield watermark. Refunds cover initial purchases within 7 days, or as local law permits, and only if no credits have been used, with a service fee of up to 6%.

Is Higgsfield AI legit?

Higgsfield's own pricing code assigns plan lineups by region tier and device, so two people can see different prices on the same day by design. Its help centre publishes the terms that matter at checkout: the pricing page always shows the current plans and prices, local taxes are added based on your billing address, a promo price renews at the standard price from the next billing cycle, and renewals aren't refundable. Our reading: the price differences people notice are segmentation rather than a sign of a scam, so read the lineup on the device and from the country you will pay from before you buy.

Key Takeaways

  • Higgsfield has no single price list. Its pricing code maps desktop visitors by region tier (T1 to one lineup, T2 to a second, T3 or a missing tier cookie to a third) and sends every phone or tablet browser to a fourth, unless an offer link or a pricing test overrides the map.
  • As served in euros to a Spanish address on October 19, 2026, the entry plans were Starter at €19 for 270 credits (T1 desktop), Starter at €15 for 200 (T2 desktop), Basic at €9 for 120 (T3 desktop) and Basic at €5 for 70 (phones). Every figure was unchanged when we re-read it on October 20.
  • In dollars, Higgsfield's own guide dated October 18, 2026 prints the numbers of the T2 lineup: the Starter plan at $15 a month gives 200 credits, Plus is $49 for 1,000 and Ultra is $129 for 3,000. We found no dated Higgsfield page that prints the other three lineups in dollars.
  • Per credit the lineups barely differ: entry plans cost 7.0 to 7.5 euro cents a credit and middle plans 4.8 to 4.9. What changes is how many credits you must buy at once, and, per Higgsfield's help centre, no entry plan includes Seedance 2.5.
  • At the two Seedance 2.5 rates Higgsfield has published for 1080p, a 30-second take is 270 to 540 credits, about €13 to €27 on any lineup's middle plan billed monthly. In Novoads the same take is 360 credits.
