Madgicx Alternatives: 6 Tools Compared on What One Ad Costs
Six Madgicx alternatives for Meta advertisers, split into tools that make ads and tools that run them, with each entry plan as the tool's own page showed it on October 29, 2026, and what one ad costs where a tool prices one.

Madgicx runs your Meta ads but only makes image ads
In a one-star Trustpilot review dated July 16, 2026, a Madgicx customer wrote, "Without warning, our credit card was charged $849, despite the advertised base plan being $45/month." On its pricing page, Madgicx ties the price to your monthly ad spend, and its FAQ says a monthly plan moves up a tier on its own once spend passes the plan's limit. So $45 is only the price for accounts spending less than $1,000 a month.
That's one reason Meta advertisers look past Madgicx. The other is creative. Madgicx's AI Ad Generator makes image ads and, by the company's own account, no video.
The right replacement depends on which half of Madgicx you used, the half that makes ads or the half that runs them, and our quick picks follow that split.
- If you want video ads, talking-actor ads and image ads from one credit balance, start with Novoads.
- If you want lots of static ads but only want to pay for the ones you download, look at AdCreative.ai.
- If most of what you make is short avatar video, look at Creatify.
- If Madgicx's automated rules were what you used, Birch's Pro plan has them, and it's priced by ad spend too.
- If your team buys creative and media automation across channels on a contract, ask Smartly for a demo.
- If you'd rather keep the automation inside Meta, use Advantage+ in Ads Manager.
What one ad costs varies far more than the plan prices do. An image runs a few cents on Novoads or Creatify, while a downloaded creative is $1.95 on AdCreative.ai's monthly Starter plan. A 15-second talking-actor ad is $15 on our own Starter plan, because we bill it as a full minute.
We haven't used Madgicx or the other five tools ourselves, and we don't have an account with any of them. Their figures come from each vendor's own pages and public ratings, read on October 29, 2026, from a connection in Spain. The Novoads side comes from our own price list and a test we ran.
What Madgicx does, and what it costs
The parts that run your ads
Madgicx calls itself "the AI Ads Manager for Meta that 200,000+ advertisers use". Its page for AI assistants, last updated October 6, 2026, says "Madgicx optimizes Meta ads only." Its reports also pull in Google Ads, TikTok, Shopify and Klaviyo. Most of what it sells is for running ads.
- AI Marketer audits your Meta ad accounts every day and lines up actions that you approve in one click.
- Automation runs rules on your Meta campaigns around the clock.
- The Ad Launcher builds new ads from your best creatives and copy.
- Creative Insights breaks down the creatives you already run, video included, and flags creative fatigue.
The part that makes ads
Madgicx's creative tool is the AI Ad Generator. Its page says it "generates new image ads from a prompt, an image or any ad in the Meta Ad Library, ready to edit and use." Once they're done, you can upload them to Ads Manager in one click or launch them from Madgicx itself. In its comparison of Smartly alternatives, updated October 26, 2026, Madgicx lists "Generates image ads, not video." as one of its own cons.
Prices by monthly ad spend
Prices as of October 29, 2026, from Madgicx's pricing page, in US dollars. The page shows one plan, Madgicx Pro Complete with AI, priced by the monthly ad spend you pick. Quarterly and annual prices are shown per month.
| Monthly ad spend | Billed monthly | Billed quarterly | Billed annually |
|---|---|---|---|
| Less than $1K | $45 | $38 | $32 |
| $1K to $2.5K | $99 | $84 | $69 |
| $2.5K to $5K | $119 | $101 | $83 |
| $5K to $10K | $129 | $110 | $90 |
| $10K to $20K | $229 | $195 | $160 |
| $20K to $30K | $329 | $280 | $230 |
Above $30K a month, the page shows no figure and sends you to the app. Madgicx's own post from October 26, 2026, lists the same $45 for the first tier and two higher ones.
- $649 for monthly spend up to $100,000
- $1,499 for monthly spend up to $1 million
Tracking Pro, the tracking add-on, costs another $49 a month. Madgicx's FAQ also names cheaper single-product plans that the pricing page doesn't show, such as an Automation plan that "starts at $15/mo." and a $29-a-month subscription for the AI Ad Library and the AI Ad Generator.
How Madgicx counts your spend
Madgicx's terms of service, last updated November 18, 2024, define ad spend as "the total of all amounts included in all of Customer's Ad Accounts, regardless of actual utilization or spend of such amounts." As we read it, that's whatever is in the connected accounts, spent or not. The FAQ adds three rules.
- When a monthly plan passes its spend limit, Madgicx moves it up to the next tier on its own. Quarterly and annual plans move up for that month.
- When you spend less, the plan doesn't move down on its own.
- Every plan includes two ad accounts, and more cost extra.
The same FAQ says the app is "most suitable for high-spenders with a monthly Facebook ad budget of $2,500+." In the table above, that's the $119 tier or higher.
The trial, renewals and refunds
The pricing page says "Try 100% free for 7 days. Cancel Anytime", and the terms allow one free trial per master account. They also say the subscription renews automatically and that "all amounts paid are non-refundable." If you cancel, the FAQ says you keep access until the billing cycle ends.

What Madgicx users say about it
Ratings as of October 29, 2026.
A 1.7 on Trustpilot, from 271 reviews
Trustpilot showed Madgicx at a TrustScore of 1.7 from 271 reviews. They're almost all at one extreme or the other. Nearly half are five-star (49%), and nearly half are one-star (47%).
What the newest reviews are about
The eight newest reviews, dated May 21 to September 28, 2026, are all one-star, and each is about a charge, a trial, a cancellation or a refund. In the one from May 24, the reviewer writes, "Cheaters, cancelled their trial on the last day and they still charged me for a year." The July 16 review we opened with is another. These are the reviewers' own accounts, and Trustpilot notes that Madgicx hasn't replied to negative reviews.
The G2 and Capterra ratings
We couldn't see Madgicx's pages on G2 and Capterra. Madgicx's own page for AI assistants carries the line "Rated 4.6 out of 5 on G2". It puts the count at 220+ reviews. Madgicx's homepage shows 4.5 and 380+ beside the G2, Capterra and Trustpilot logos, without saying which site that figure comes from.
The six alternatives in one table
Prices as of October 29, 2026, from each tool's own page, in US dollars on monthly billing.
| Tool | What it does | Entry plan | One ad on that plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Madgicx | Runs Meta ads, makes image ads | Pro Complete, $45 under $1K spend | No price per ad |
| Novoads | Makes video, actor and image ads | Starter, $15 for 200 credits | 5 s clip, about $1.73 |
| AdCreative.ai | Makes static and video ads | Starter, $39 for 20 credits | $1.95 per download |
| Creatify | Makes avatar and product video | Standard, $15 for 55 credits | 5 s clip, about $2.14 |
| Birch | Rules, launcher and reports | Essential, $49 up to $10K spend | You bring the creative |
| Smartly | Creative and media automation | No public price | Not published |
| Meta Advantage+ | Meta's own automation | No separate fee listed | Not priced per ad |
Both five-second clips use the same model, Seedance 2.0 at 720p. Creatify's and AdCreative.ai's per-ad figures are the plan price divided by the count on their own plan cards.
novoads.ai/en/pricing with Monthly selected, screenshot taken 2026-10-29
The Novoads row comes from that page. Starter is $15 a month for 200 credits, billed monthly only. Plus is $49 a month for 1,000 credits. Billed annually, it's $39 a month.
What one image ad costs
- On Novoads, a GPT Image 2.5 image is 1 credit at low or medium quality and 2 at high. At medium, that's 7.5 cents on Starter and 4.9 cents on Plus.
- Creatify's Standard card lists 220 GPT Image 2.5 images at 1K. That's about 6.8 cents an image, or about 4.9 cents on Pro.
- On AdCreative.ai, you only spend a credit when you download a creative. One download is $1.95 on Starter billed monthly. Billed yearly, it's a dollar.
- Madgicx has no per-ad price, since its October post says ad generations are unlimited on the plan.
On the two $15 plans, Creatify's image is a little cheaper than ours, and one plan up, we tie. We price images by quality and Creatify by size, so treat the two image figures as a near match.
What a five-second video clip costs
Every clip below is at 720p.
- On Novoads, five seconds of Seedance 2.0 is 23 credits. That's about $1.73 on Starter and $1.13 on Plus.
- Creatify's Standard card lists 7 five-second Seedance 2.0 clips. That's about $2.14 a clip, or about $1.53 on Pro.
- Our cheapest five-second clip is Seedance 2.0 Mini, at 5 credits. That's about 38 cents on Starter.
- Creatify's own Boreal model is cheaper still. Its Standard card lists 110 Boreal clips of that length, about 14 cents each.
- AdCreative.ai makes video ads, but the pages we read don't say how many credits a video download takes.
For five seconds of Seedance 2.0, we cost less than Creatify on both plans, but Creatify's Boreal is the cheapest clip of all.
What a 15-second avatar video costs
- On Novoads, a talking-actor video at 720p is 200 credits a minute, and a started minute counts as a full one. So a 15-second ad costs as much as a full minute.
- That's $15.00 on Starter, the whole month's credits, and $9.80 on Plus.
- Creatify's Standard card lists 11 Aurora avatar videos of 15 seconds. That's about $1.36 each, or about 98 cents on Pro.
For a short avatar ad, Creatify is far cheaper than Novoads. Our price stays at 200 credits up to a full minute, while Creatify's card says longer clips use more credits, so a longer script narrows the gap.
What each alternative is for, and the catch
Prices as of October 29, 2026, as in the table above.
Novoads, for the video and image ads themselves
In Novoads, you write or paste a script and pick an AI actor for a talking-actor ad. Or you make clips with video models such as Seedance 2.0 and Kling v3 Pro, and images with models such as GPT Image 2.5 and Nano Banana Pro. We publish every model's credit price, and it all comes out of one monthly balance.
The catch is short avatar ads, which cost far more with us than on Creatify. We bill Starter monthly only, and every plan is paid from the first month. Novoads makes the ad and never uploads, launches, buys or runs it.
It fits a Meta advertiser who needs new video and image ads to test and keeps another tool, Madgicx included, for running them.
AdCreative.ai, for lots of statics, paid per download
AdCreative.ai makes static and video ads, and its FAQ says "You can generate unlimited creatives, but credits are only consumed when you download them." Starter is $39 a month for one brand on monthly billing. The page opens on yearly billing, where it shows $20 a month.
A download on Starter costs $1.95 billed monthly, which makes it the priciest image of the three creative tools here. AdCreative.ai's pricing FAQ offers refunds within 7 days on monthly plans and 30 on yearly ones, but only if you haven't generated or downloaded anything.
It suits a brand that wants a wide selection of statics and downloads only the ones it runs. Our AdCreative.ai review covers it in full.
Creatify, for avatar video at a low price per clip
Creatify makes AI avatar video ads and product videos, and its pricing page also lists an Ad Launcher for Meta, TikTok and AppLovin. Its card pitches Standard "For trying AI video ads", and annual billing brings it down to $10 a month. Pro is $55 a month, or $38 billed annually.
The downside is that unused credits expire. Creatify's card says "Credits expire after 2 months." Its counts are at 720p and 1K, and higher resolutions, longer clips and premium models cost more credits. Its free plan puts a watermark on exports.
It fits an advertiser whose ads are mostly short avatar videos. Our Creatify review and Creatify pricing breakdown go deeper.

Birch, for rules and a launcher priced by spend
Birch, formerly Revealbot, runs the ads you bring. Its Essential card says "Focus on the creative part, while leaving the rest to us." Like Madgicx, Birch prices by monthly ad spend, across the Meta, Google, Snapchat and TikTok accounts you connect. Up to $10K of spend, the page shows two plans.
- Essential is $49 a month on monthly billing, or $45 a month billed annually, with reports, post boosting and workspaces.
- Pro is $99 a month, or $91 billed annually, and adds automated rules and strategies, the Launcher and Explorer.
For a Madgicx user, the catch is that the automated rules are on Pro. Past your plan's spend limit, Birch charges an overage fee through Stripe. Viewed from Spain, the page showed the same numbers in euros, and it says checkout confirms the final price and currency. Its free trial runs 14 days.
It fits a Madgicx user who spends under $10K a month and mostly ran rules and launches.
Smartly, for big teams buying on contract
Smartly sells creative and media automation together. Its homepage promises to "Build smarter cross channel ads in one-third the time" and asks you to book a demo. There's no public price. Its terms of use, effective February 1, 2026, say fees and invoicing "are specified in the Order Form" and mention subscriptions with spend-based pricing.
So you can't price it before a sales call. It suits a large team that wants creative and media in one contract. If you're one person running one store, we'd look elsewhere.
Meta Advantage+, for automation inside Ads Manager
Advantage+ is Meta's own automation inside Ads Manager. Meta says "Advantage+ creative uses AI to generate and enhance ad variations across single image, video and carousel formats". It has also renamed Advantage+ shopping to Advantage+ sales campaigns, which automate creative, audience, budget and destination. Its page says they can test up to 150 creative combinations.
What you give up is control. Meta's creative page says "Some enhancements may be turned on by default, but you can turn them off at any time." Advantage+ also only works on Meta, and Meta's pages don't list a separate fee for it.
It works for an advertiser who's happy to let Meta run the campaign and can keep feeding it enough varied creative. Our post on creative diversity in Meta ads covers that.
Where Novoads fits beside the tool that runs your ads
A hook test for one product
On October 20, 2026, we made three six-second openings in Novoads for an unbranded candle, with an AI-generated creator. We used Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p, in 9:16. It's the kind of hook test a Meta advertiser runs before backing one version. Hook A, below, is a callout with the line "If you work from home, your workday never really ends." All three said their lines word for word, and hook C had one visual mistake on a shelf.
Seedance 2.0 Mini · hook A of three 6-second 9:16 openings at 720p for an unbranded candle, a callout to people who work from home · 6 credits · rendered 2026-10-20
That clip cost 6 credits, about 45 cents on Starter. All three hooks came to 18 credits. Our post on ad hook variations walks through testing more openings on one ad.
What you do with the file
Novoads makes the ad and stops there. It doesn't upload, launch, buy or run ads on Meta or anywhere else, so you take the file to Ads Manager or whichever tool runs your account. Our FAQ says all videos generated with Novoads are fully licensed for commercial use. You pay from the first month, and our pricing page lists every plan.
Which Madgicx alternative fits your account
- Pick Novoads when you want video, talking-actor and image ads from one balance and will run them yourself.
- Pick Creatify when short avatar videos are most of what you make.
- Pick AdCreative.ai when you want many statics but only want to pay for the ones you download.
- Pick Birch Pro when rules and launching were what you used Madgicx for.
- Pick Advantage+ when you'd rather let Meta run the campaign and put your effort into creative.
- Talk to Smartly when a large team needs creative and media automation under one contract.
If none of these fits, our roundup of automated content creation tools for paid social covers more ad makers. If you're leaving Madgicx, cancel before the renewal date. Its terms make every payment non-refundable, and its FAQ says you keep access until the end of the cycle you've paid for.
Before you pay for the next tool, figure out what one ad in your usual format costs on it, whether that's an image, a five-second clip or a 15-second avatar video.
