Pollo AI Review for Ad Makers: Credit Rules, 4.3 on Trustpilot

Pollo AI offers its own video models, many third-party engines and a Marketing Studio for ads, and its users rate it highly. But read its credit and refund rules before you pay.

A generated photograph of an ad maker's desk with a phone on a small tripod playing a vertical clip of a hand holding an amber dropper bottle, a laptop showing a grid of video thumbnails, a glass jar of gold tokens and a pen on a sheet of paper

3,937 five-star reviews, but no prorated refunds

Pollo AI's terms say it provides "an AI creative suite for marketers, creators, sellers, and brands," and for an ad maker, the draw is many video engines behind one login. Pollo offers its own Pollo video models alongside third-party engines such as Kling, Seedance, Veo, Wan and Hailuo. Its site menu also has a Marketing Studio, with tools for product-link ads, photo ads, UGC ads and cloned ads.

Its users like it. On Trustpilot, Pollo has a TrustScore of 4.3 from 5,572 reviews. Its iPhone app shows 4.5 from 13K ratings on the US App Store. On Google Play's US listing, the Android app shows 4.6 from 57.3K reviews. We read all three on October 27, 2026.

The part to read twice is how Pollo handles money. Its terms make fees non-refundable unless stated otherwise, and they rule out partial refunds and prorated credits. In a reply on Trustpilot, Pollo says plan credits last 30 days per cycle and don't carry over. And Pollo's web pricing page wouldn't open for us, so you won't find a web plan price in this review.

We haven't used Pollo ourselves, and we didn't make an account. We worked from the Pollo pages we could read on October 27, 2026 (its terms, its API docs and its app store listings), Pollo's own credit list as the Internet Archive saved it on October 14, 2026, and its public ratings. The Novoads side is our own run of the same kind of ad.

What Pollo gives an ad maker

The models in Pollo's menu

On October 27, 2026, Pollo's site menu listed these video models among others, and it tagged Vidu Q4 and Kling 4.0 "New".

  • Vidu Q4 and Kling 4.0
  • Kling 3.0 and Kling AI
  • Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0
  • Veo 3
  • Wan 3.0
  • MiniMax H3 Max and Hailuo AI

The same menu still lists Sora 2. But OpenAI's own guide says its Sora 2 models and Videos API "were shut down on September 24, 2026 and are no longer available," so we wouldn't plan an ad on Sora 2 through Pollo.

Pollo's full list of video models, as the Internet Archive saved it on October 14, 2026, runs to 73 entries. Among the names that aren't in the menu are models from Midjourney, Luma, Pika, PixVerse and Runway.

Pollo's own models and lip sync

Pollo also builds its own models. Its API docs describe Pollo 2.5 as making "multi-shot videos with optional native audio generation, consistent characters, and precise control over style, motion, and camera direction." The archived list includes a Pollo 3.0, too.

For talking clips, Pollo's API spec lists lip sync for its own H3 lip sync model, ByteDance's OmniHuman 1.5 and Hedra's Character 3. If a talking face is the whole ad, our Hedra review covers Hedra's own app.

The Marketing Studio and the agent

The part of the menu aimed at ad makers is the Marketing Studio, which Pollo describes as "built for marketers and sellers to create winning ads, UGC videos and product visuals faster." Its video tools go by these names.

  • URL to Video Ads and Photo to Video Ads
  • UGC Video Ads and Clone Video Ads
  • Real Estate Video, AI Ad Generator and Product Video
  • Try-On Video and Bulk Viral Videos

Its image tools include AI Product Shot, Listing Image Set and Virtual Try-on Photo. Pollo pitches Pollo Agent separately, as a way to "create production-ready videos with SFX, consistent characters, and polished scenes." We haven't tested the studio or the agent.

Pollo's plans and credits, as far as we could read them

The web pricing page didn't open for us

Every time we went to Pollo's web pricing page on October 27, 2026, we hit a bot check, so no price in this review is a web plan price. Pollo's own pages still name the plans, though. Its pricing FAQ, as the Internet Archive saved it on October 12, 2026, addresses Free, Lite and Pro users. And its app text tells buyers to "upgrade to Pro 2000 / 3000 or Ultra" before they buy add-on credits.

What the iPhone app charges

The US App Store lists the iPhone app's in-app purchases. We opened the listing twice that morning and got two different sets. Neither set says how many credits a Lite or Pro plan includes. These are Apple in-app prices, and we couldn't compare them with Pollo's web prices.

In-app prices as of October 27, 2026.

API credits are a separate wallet

Pollo also sells API credits, and its app text says API credits and user credits "operate independently and are not interchangeable." Its API docs, last updated June 30, 2026, put the smallest top-up at $80. By Pollo's estimate, that buys about 800 images or 500 videos. Larger packs go up to $5,000.

Sign-up credits and check-ins

Pollo's app text carries a "20 FREE credits!" line. In replies on Trustpilot on October 12 and 13, 2026, Pollo said first-time sign-ups get 20 credits, with more from referrals and daily check-ins. The app text also offers 25 credits for checking in seven days in a row.

Credits run on a 30-day clock

Pollo's pricing FAQ, as archived on October 12, 2026, says "unused subscription credits do not carry over to the next billing cycle." In a reply on Trustpilot on October 19, 2026, Pollo added that "Credits for both monthly and annual plans are valid for 30 days per cycle." The same archived FAQ says Free and Lite users get more credits by upgrading, while Pro users can "slide the credit bar below the Pro plan to purchase extra credits."

What one clip costs in Pollo credits

Pollo's model pages wouldn't open for us either. But the Internet Archive saved Pollo's Kling 3.0 page on October 14, 2026, and that copy lists the web credits per clip for every video model Pollo carried that day. We can't turn these into dollars, because we couldn't read any live Pollo plan price.

They're also list credits, before any discount. That day, the list flagged Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0 and Veo 3.1 with a discount it doesn't explain, so we left the discount out of the table. Credits per clip as listed on October 14, 2026.

Model and settingLengthPollo credits
Pollo 2.5 basic, 720p, no audio5 s5
Pollo 2.5 basic, 720p, with audio5 s12
Pollo 3.0 basic, 720p5 s15
Kling 3.0 standard, no audio5 s30
Kling 3.0 standard, with audio5 s50
Kling 3.0 pro, no audio5 s45
Kling 3.0 pro, with audio5 s75
Seedance 2.0, 720p5 s100
Veo 3.1, 720p, no audio8 s120
Veo 3.1, 720p, with audio8 s240

On that list, Pollo 3.0 and Seedance 2.0 are priced by the second at 720p. Pollo 3.0 costs 3 credits a second, and Seedance 2.0 costs 20. We multiplied each rate by 5 seconds to fill in their rows above.

What the spread means for an ad test

On Pollo, the engine you pick changes the bill more than anything else. A Kling 3.0 clip in pro mode with audio costs 75 credits, two and a half times as much as the standard clip without audio. Veo 3.1 with audio costs 240 credits for 8 seconds. That's 20 times what a Pollo 2.5 clip with audio costs.

Pollo's 20 sign-up credits won't buy one standard Kling 3.0 clip, which costs 30, though they'll cover one Pollo 2.5 clip with audio. On July 25, 2026, a Google Play reviewer wrote that the app said "you can make up to 60 videos with the monthly subscription," and that they ran out of credits after a single 15-second video, with no corrections made. So we'd work out a budget per engine before trusting any videos-per-month figure.

If Kling 3.0 is the engine you want, you can also go straight to Kling. We've covered what Kling's own $0 plan allows for ads and the Kling alternatives we'd test in separate posts.

Who owns what you make with Pollo

The ownership line and the license that comes with it

Pollo's terms, effective April 30, 2026, say "You retain ownership of any content, including videos, text, images, or other materials, that you upload or generate using the Service." That line isn't new. It was already in Pollo's terms when the Internet Archive saved them on November 6, 2024, and those terms were dated August 22, 2024.

But ownership comes with a license to Pollo. By submitting content, you grant Pollo.ai "a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display" it "for the purpose of operating, improving, and promoting the Service."

The same terms add a sentence that pulls the other way. Using the service or "User Content in any manner not specified in this document" requires Pollo's permission, and if Pollo grants it, "you must acknowledge us as the owners or licensors of the content used." Read the two side by side before you lean on the ownership line.

What the public feed adds

You can also publish a clip to Pollo's public Explore feed. If you set content to public, you give Pollo and its affiliates "a perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, free, royalty-free, irrevocable, worldwide license," which covers "modifying, improving, and enhancing artificial intelligence models." For client work, or a product that isn't out yet, we'd keep every generation private.

Owning a clip doesn't clear it for ads

Pollo's app text has both a "Watermarked outputs" label and a "Watermark-free outputs" label, plus a line about using "the generated images commercially." None of the Pollo pages we could read on October 27, 2026 says which plan gets which. So we wouldn't treat a clip made on sign-up credits as cleared for ads. Check your plan's commercial-use and watermark terms inside your account before you put ad spend behind a Pollo clip.

The refund and credit rules you'll meet

Refunds and canceling, in Pollo's words

These rules come from Pollo's own pages, read October 27, 2026, unless we give another date.

  • Fees are "non-refundable unless otherwise stated," though Pollo "may, at its sole discretion, provide refunds or credits in specific circumstances."
  • "No partial refunds or prorated credits will be issued for unused time, mid-cycle cancellations, or subscription downgrades under any circumstances."
  • A canceled plan stays active "until the end of your current billing cycle." Cancel before the next billing date, because if you miss it, the charge is "non-refundable."
  • The pricing FAQ, as archived on October 12, 2026, says you "can request a refund for subscription credits within 3 days of your first purchase as long as you meet the eligibility criteria."
  • Add-on credits "are not refundable but won't expire," according to the same archived FAQ, and the app text says they "cannot be exchanged for membership, transferred, withdrawn, or refunded."

So you can get money or credits back within 3 days of a first purchase if you're eligible, after a failed generation, or at Pollo's discretion.

Pollo refunds credits for failed renders, but you pay for retries

Pollo's app text tells users, "Video generation failed due to an error with the third-party model. Credits refunded. Please try again."

A clip that renders but misses your brief isn't a failure in that sense. When a two-star reviewer asked for "a 3 pic preview before you spend credits," Pollo replied on October 19, 2026 that a preview like that "is not available yet," so plan on paying for retries.

What "Unlimited" means on Pollo

Pollo's app text describes an Unlimited mode for supported models while your subscription is active, and then puts limits on it. Unlimited use "is subject to dynamic speed and parallel limits" and runs on a separate queue, "independent of the 'priority queue' that consumes credits." Term-based Unlimited lasts "a specific number of days (e.g., 10 days or 14 days, as detailed on the pricing page or model label)," and it ends right away if your subscription ends or drops to a plan without it.

On October 11, 2026, a Pro member on Trustpilot wrote that generations advertised as "10 days free unlimited" were "very much limited to only a certain amount of generations per day."

What Pollo's users say

Three ratings, read October 27, 2026

  • Trustpilot gives Pollo a TrustScore of 4.3 from 5,572 reviews. Of those, 71% are five-star and 11% are one-star.
  • The US App Store shows the iPhone app at 4.5 from 13K ratings.
  • Google Play's US listing shows the Android app at 4.6 from 57.3K reviews.

Trustpilot also warns that "This company hasn't invited customers recently, so reviews may not be representative," and it shows that Pollo "Replied to 100% of negative reviews." The Software Advice, Capterra and G2 pages wouldn't open for us, so their scores aren't here.

What the low reviews say

We read 100 of Pollo's Trustpilot reviews, published between September 15 and October 27, 2026. Of those, 81 were five-star and 12 were one- or two-star. Seven of the 12 low ones are about credits or billing.

  • On October 16, 2026, a one-star review said "POINTS SHOULD NOT EXPIRE."
  • On October 10, 2026, a new sign-up wrote "I had 0 credits, so basically, I couldn't even get started," and Pollo replied with its 20-credit bonus.
  • On October 13, 2026, a reviewer said "only one in ten turns out right," which made it "an expensive process to work with."
  • On September 16, 2026, a reviewer wrote that their Mastercard statement showed the charge as "humbot singapore," not pollo.ai.
  • On October 22, 2026, a one-star review called Pollo "far to restrictive" for restoring old photos.

On October 24, 2026, a subscriber paying "$59.99 per month" left three stars and wrote that "customers should not automatically lose credits for results that are clearly defective or substantially inconsistent with their prompts." On the App Store, a review dated May 6 (the page shows no year) says "You purchase a subscription, just to find out you have to pay even more for credits."

What the praise says

Most of what we read was five-star, and by Trustpilot's own counts, five-star reviews outnumber one-star ones about six to one. A five-star review from October 26, 2026 says "Pollo has no restriction limits like other AI sites," and adds that "the best model is also the most expensive."

Who should use Pollo for ads, and who should look elsewhere

This part is our reading of everything above.

Pollo is a good fit if

  • You want many video engines and Pollo's own lower-credit models in one account, and you're happy to pick the engine for each ad yourself.
  • Your ads start from a product photo or a product page, since the Marketing Studio has photo and URL tools for exactly that.
  • You'll test on the sign-up credits first, and you can use up each cycle's credits before they lapse.
  • You want an API alongside the app, and an $80 first top-up works for you.

Look elsewhere if

  • You want a dollar price per clip before you commit. We couldn't read one, and the Pollo clips in our credit table run from 5 to 240 credits depending on the engine.
  • You expect money back for unused time or a mid-cycle downgrade.
  • You're counting on "Unlimited" for volume.
  • You need to know a clip is cleared for ads before you pay.

If you're in the second group, start with our list of Pollo alternatives. We've also reviewed OpenArt and TopView for ad makers.

How Novoads makes the same image-to-video ad

Novoads turns a product image into a vertical video ad. Pollo's menu lists Image to Video AI first among its video tools, and its Marketing Studio has Photo to Video Ads, so we ran the same job, turning one still into one clip.

The run

On October 21, 2026, we gave Seedance 2.0 Mini one product still through the Novoads MCP connector. The still was a GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst picture of an amber dropper bottle with a blank cream label, and it cost 1 credit. The clip came back 93 seconds later and cost 10 credits. It's a 10-second vertical selfie video at 720p, with a woman in a bright bathroom holding the bottle next to her face.

She says the scripted line word for word, and the bottle keeps its shape and its blank label in every frame. It's the same run we showed in our TopView review.

What our clips cost on Starter and Plus

Novoads is paid from the first month, and Starter is our smallest plan. It costs $15 a month for 200 credits. Plus costs $49 a month for 1,000 credits. That puts a credit at 7.5 cents on Starter and 4.9 cents on Plus. Credits as of October 27, 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Pollo AI trustworthy?

Pollo AI's terms name its operator as COCOSOFT TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD., and its public ratings were high when we read them on October 27, 2026. Trustpilot showed a TrustScore of 4.3 from 5,572 reviews, along with its own warning that Pollo hasn't invited customers to review recently. The US App Store showed the iPhone app at 4.5 from 13K ratings. Pollo's terms make fees non-refundable unless stated otherwise and rule out partial refunds and prorated credits, so read them before you pay.

Who owns the videos you make with Pollo AI?

Pollo's terms, effective April 30, 2026, say you keep ownership of what you upload or generate. But you also grant Pollo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to use that content to run, improve and promote the service. Anything you publish to its public Explore feed gives Pollo a perpetual, irrevocable license. Owning a clip doesn't clear it for commercial use, so check your plan's terms before you run a Pollo clip as an ad.

Does Pollo AI give refunds?

Only in narrow cases. Pollo's terms say fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated, though Pollo may refund at its own discretion. They also rule out partial refunds and prorated credits for unused time, mid-cycle cancellations or downgrades. Pollo's pricing FAQ, as archived on October 12, 2026, let you request a refund for subscription credits within 3 days of a first purchase if you met its eligibility criteria. And Pollo's app text says credits are refunded when a generation fails because of an error.

Do Pollo AI credits expire?

Plan credits do. Pollo's pricing FAQ, as archived on October 12, 2026, says unused subscription credits don't carry over to the next billing cycle. In a reply on Trustpilot on October 19, 2026, Pollo said credits on monthly and annual plans are valid for 30 days per cycle. Add-on credits don't expire, according to the same archived FAQ.

Key Takeaways

  • Pollo AI offers its own Pollo video models alongside many third-party engines, and its Marketing Studio has tools for product-link, photo, UGC and cloned ads.
  • Trustpilot gave Pollo a TrustScore of 4.3 from 5,572 reviews on October 27, 2026, and its iPhone and Android apps scored higher on the US App Store and Google Play.
  • Pollo's web pricing page wouldn't open for us, so the only Pollo list prices in this review are the iPhone app's in-app purchases and the API top-ups, which start at $80.
  • On Pollo's own credit list, archived October 14, 2026, the clips we priced run from 5 credits on Pollo 2.5 to 240 on Veo 3.1 with audio, so the engine you pick sets most of the bill.
  • Pollo's terms say you own what you make but grant Pollo a broad license to it, and they rule out partial refunds and prorated credits. Check the refund and commercial-use rules before you pay.
