MakeUGC Pricing in 2026: Every Plan and What 100 Credits Buy
MakeUGC's Starter is $29 a month billed yearly or $59 month to month for 500 credits, as listed on October 21, 2026. Every plan, what its 100-credit talking-actor video costs, and the same ad on Novoads.

The First MakeUGC Price You See Is Billed Yearly
MakeUGC's pricing page opens on its Annual tab, so the first plan a visitor reads is Starter at $29 per month, billed yearly, for 500 credits a month. Switch the toggle to Monthly and the same card reads $59, beside Growth at $79 and Pro at $149, as the page showed on October 21, 2026.
The credits decide what that buys. MakeUGC's API docs charge 100 credits for one talking-actor video, so Starter makes five a month: $5.80 a video on the yearly bill, $11.80 on the monthly one. This guide lists every plan and billing period, prices one 30-second talking-actor ad on each, and sets the same ad beside Novoads, where the arithmetic favors MakeUGC at volume and on yearly bills, and Novoads for one ad a month or a few paid month to month.
We have not used MakeUGC hands-on. Every MakeUGC figure comes from its own pricing, docs, policy and feature pages, read on October 21, 2026 and re-checked on October 22. Every Novoads figure comes from our own price list and credit rates.
Every MakeUGC Plan and Price on October 21, 2026
MakeUGC sells three self-serve plans, Starter, Growth and Pro, plus a custom Enterprise tier. The billing toggle changes the price and never the allowance. Its FAQ: "The plans and monthly credits stay the same."
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed quarterly | Billed yearly | Credits a month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $59 | $41 | $29 | 500 |
| Growth | $79 | $55 | $39 | 1,000 |
| Pro | $149 | $104 | $79 | 2,000 to 5,000 |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Custom | Custom |
Every price is per month. The page prints only a $ sign; we read the figures as US dollars because its structured data lists the plans in USD. Some third-party pages still quote an older MakeUGC ladder, and every price in this guide comes from MakeUGC's own pages instead.
Starter: 500 credits and one render at a time
Starter is pitched "For creators getting started with AI UGC". Its card and comparison table list:
- 500 credits a month and 300+ AI actors
- exports at 480p and 720p
- one video and one image rendering at a time ("1 generation at a time per media type.")
- zero custom avatars of yourself and zero included team seats
- email support
Our MakeUGC review covers what MakeUGC's actors do well for ads, what Starter leaves out and who the tool fits.
Growth and Pro: more credits, seats and parallel jobs
Growth, "For brands testing many creatives every month", doubles the credits to 1,000 and adds:
- 500+ AI actors, with HD, 2K and 4K exports depending on the model
- 10 videos and 10 images rendering at once
- one custom avatar, three team seats, voice cloning, Batch Mode and a brand kit
- 200 promo credits, and chat support beside email
Pro, "For growing teams and power users who need every tool", lists 2,000 to 5,000 credits, 1,000+ actors, unlimited parallel jobs, three custom avatars, five seats and priority chat. Its comparison table reserves three extras for Pro: approval flows, priority rendering and an onboarding call. A "LIMITED" banner on the page offers 500 extra credits with Pro under a countdown timer.
The Pro tiers the card does not price
The Pro card shows one price for its whole 2,000 to 5,000-credit range. That price matches the 2,000-credit tier in the page script of a campaign pricing page in MakeUGC's sitemap, makeugc.ai/pricing-50-off, which also holds the larger tiers:
- 3,000 credits: $199 a month on monthly billing, $139 a month quarterly, $99 a month yearly
- 5,000 credits: $249, $174 or $129 a month on the same three periods
That script counts Pro in "videos" of 100 credits each, the same rate as the API docs. Check the tier at checkout before relying on those two prices. For tools that price the same job differently, see our MakeUGC alternatives.

How MakeUGC Bills: the Toggle, the $1 Start and Refunds
Quarterly and yearly cut the price, not the credits
MakeUGC's FAQ: "Quarterly billing saves up to 31% and annual billing saves up to 51% compared with paying monthly." The saving is real, and it arrives as one bigger charge. By our arithmetic from the yearly tab, a year of Starter is $348 paid at once, Growth $468 and Pro $948. A quarter costs $123, $165 or $312.
What "Start now for $1" means
The Starter, Growth and Pro buttons read "Start now for $1". The FAQ sets the terms: you choose a plan and pay a dollar, and "Your checkout shows the trial duration and renewal amount for your billing period. It renews at the plan price unless you cancel from your account."
MakeUGC's trial policy, effective January 2, 2026, limits the offer to "one (1) trial per individual or per legal entity". Budget for the renewal, not the dollar: on the yearly tab, the renewal is a year of Starter, $348 by our arithmetic.
Credits reset monthly, and refunds close fast
- No rollover. The FAQ: "Credits are shared across the studio and API, refresh monthly and do not roll over."
- A short refund window. MakeUGC's refund policy, last updated September 4, 2025, gives a full refund within three business days of a purchase or renewal, "provided credits have not been substantially consumed". Later requests "are subject to usage and plan rules".
What 100 MakeUGC Credits Buy
Credits only compare once they turn into videos, the method in our guide to AI video credits. MakeUGC publishes its rates in its API docs.
One talking-actor video, up to the script cap
The docs price the talking actor per generation: "Generation costs 1 API credit unit (100 displayed credits). The default script limit is 1,500 characters." They name MakeUGC 1.0 "the talking-creator model in Studio", and the limits page caps supplied audio at 120 seconds. By that rate, a longer video inside those caps costs the same 100 credits.
For scale, the 14.6-second script we ran on Novoads, shown further down, is 192 characters. At that pace a 30-second script is about 400 characters, near a quarter of MakeUGC's cap, so a 30-second ad is one 100-credit generation.
These are API rates. The pricing FAQ says the studio and the API share one balance, and that "Each generation costs credits based on its model, duration and resolution", so a studio render could be metered differently. The per-video figures here use the published 100.
Omi-Human, product-in-hand scenes and Seedance 2.5
The same limits page prices MakeUGC's other ways to fill an ad:
- Omi-Human: 100 credits under 15 seconds and 200 for 15 to 30 seconds, so a 30-second Omi-Human video doubles every per-video figure below.
- Product-in-Hand Veo: 100 credits a scene on Fast, 200 on Pro.
- Seedance 2.5: 0.16 API units a second at 720p. The docs' own example: "A ten-second Seedance 2.5 request at 720p estimates 1.6 API units (160 displayed credits)." So 100 credits buy about six seconds of Seedance 2.5.
The Seedance 2.5 Unlimited Pass
A banner on MakeUGC's homepage and feature pages, also under a countdown timer, sells Seedance 2.5 by the day: a 24-Hour Pass at $99 with 100 bonus credits and a 3-Day Pass at $199 with 200, both for unlimited Seedance 2.5 videos at about ten minutes of processing each. Neither is a one-time purchase: the pass page says "the 24-hour pass renews daily at $99, the 3-day pass every 3 days at $199", until you cancel. On Pro's monthly bill a ten-second clip is 160 credits at $149 per 2,000, or $11.92, so each day of the 24-hour pass costs about as much as eight clips.
One 30-Second Talking-Actor Ad on Every MakeUGC Plan
The per-video formula: monthly price ÷ (monthly credits ÷ 100) = the cost of one talking-actor video. A 30-second ad is one generation, so it is one video. We used the same per-ad method on HeyGen's plans.
| Plan | Videos a month | Billed monthly | Billed quarterly | Billed yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 5 | $11.80 | $8.20 | $5.80 |
| Growth | 10 | $7.90 | $5.50 | $3.90 |
| Pro, 2,000 credits | 20 | $7.45 | $5.20 | $3.95 |
| Pro, 3,000 credits | 30 | $6.63 | $4.63 | $3.30 |
| Pro, 5,000 credits | 50 | $4.98 | $3.48 | $2.58 |
The two larger Pro rows use the campaign page's prices.
Starter halves on the yearly bill
Starter's five videos cost $59 ÷ 5 = $11.80 each month to month. The yearly tab brings the same five to $5.80 each, the lowest Starter figure, in exchange for the $348 charge.
Growth undercuts Pro until the larger tiers
Growth costs $20 more than Starter on monthly billing and doubles the videos, so one drops to $7.90, or $3.90 on the yearly bill. Pro's 2,000-credit tier lands at $3.95 yearly, five cents above Growth. At that tier the Pro premium buys seats, parallel jobs and priority rendering, not cheaper videos. Only the 3,000 and 5,000-credit tiers go lower, to $3.30 and $2.58 a video on yearly billing.
What the per-video math leaves out
- Unused credits. They do not roll over, so a Starter month that makes three videos costs $59 ÷ 3 = $19.67 a video.
- Promo credits. Growth's 200 and Pro's 500 extra are left out of the math: they sit in a promo row, and Pro's runs under a countdown banner.
- Resolution. Starter exports 480p and 720p; Growth and Pro list HD, 2K and 4K, and the table notes "Available resolutions depend on the selected model."
- Model choice. Omi-Human at 15 to 30 seconds doubles every cell.

The Same 30-Second Ad on Novoads
Novoads makes UGC-style video ads with AI actors: you pick an actor, paste a script, and a talking actor delivers it to camera. Our Novoads vs MakeUGC comparison covers features; this section covers only the meter.
200 credits a started minute, or 100 at 480p
Novoads bills its talking actor by the started minute: 200 credits at 720p, the default, or 100 at 480p. A 30-second ad and a 60-second ad cost the same 200 credits; at 61 seconds a second minute starts and the price doubles.
We ran one on October 20, 2026: a 15-second ad made through the Novoads connector, library actor Emma with the voice Alexandra, reading a hot-sleeper script about linen sheets. It came back in 1 minute 40 seconds, said the script word for word, and cost 200 credits at 720p.
Talking actor · a 15-second hot-sleeper script about linen sheets, made through the Novoads connector · 200 credits at 720p · rendered 2026-10-20
Its length made no difference to the bill: a 30-second version, or a full minute, would have cost the same 200 credits.
What one ad costs on each Novoads plan
Divide each plan's price by the ads its credits make, at 200 credits each for 720p and 100 for 480p.
| Plan | Price a month | Ads at 720p | Per ad, monthly | Per ad, yearly | Per ad at 480p |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $15 | 1 | $15.00 | Monthly only | $7.50 |
| Plus | $49 | 5 | $9.80 | $7.80 | $4.90 |
| Ultra 3,000 | $129 | 15 | $8.60 | $6.60 | $4.30 |
| Ultra 6,000 | $250 | 30 | $8.33 | $6.47 | $4.17 |
| Ultra 9,000 | $375 | 45 | $8.33 | $6.00 | $4.17 |
The yearly column uses the annual prices: $39 a month for Plus, and $99, $194 and $270 a month for the three Ultra tiers.
Side by side at the same monthly count
At 720p, for the same number of talking ads a month:
- One ad: $15 on Novoads Starter, against MakeUGC's smallest plan, Starter, at $29 a month billed yearly ($348 at once), $41 a month billed quarterly or $59 month to month.
- Five ads, monthly billing: $9.80 an ad on Novoads Plus, against $11.80 on MakeUGC Starter.
- Five ads, yearly billing: $5.80 on MakeUGC Starter, against $7.80 on Novoads Plus.
- Ten ads: $7.90 on MakeUGC Growth month to month, or $3.90 yearly. Ten 720p ads on Novoads need Ultra 3,000 at $129, which is $12.90 an ad unless you use all fifteen.
- Twenty to fifty ads: MakeUGC Pro runs from $7.45 down to $4.98 on monthly billing; Novoads Ultra stays between $8.60 and $8.33.
Verdict: at 720p, MakeUGC is the cheaper talking-actor meter from ten videos a month and on every yearly bill. Novoads is cheaper for one to five ads a month on monthly billing. The 480p option halves the Novoads price, to $4.90 an ad on Plus, under every MakeUGC monthly rung, though Growth and Pro list sharper exports.
A clip is where Novoads costs less
A ten-second Seedance 2.5 clip at 720p is 70 credits on Novoads and 160 on MakeUGC. On Novoads that is $3.43 of Plus at $49 a month, and $5.25 on the $15 Starter plan. On MakeUGC Pro, whose card lists "All premium models", the same clip is $11.92 of the monthly bill or $6.32 billed yearly, and $4.13 even on the 5,000-credit tier's yearly price. Novoads Plus undercuts every MakeUGC tier on this clip.
How Novoads Solves the One-Ad Month
Novoads plans start small enough that a single talking ad does not mean paying for five.
Starter covers a single talking ad
Starter is $15 a month for 200 credits, billed monthly only: one 720p talking ad of up to a minute, or two at 480p. Plus is $49 a month for 1,000 credits, or $39 a month billed annually, and Ultra starts at $129 for 3,000 credits. Every plan and per-model rate is on our pricing page, and one-time top-up packs, which expire 90 days after purchase, cover a month that runs short.
Screenshot: novoads.ai/pricing at phone width, the plan comparison on Plus at $49 a month, shown in two halves: 5 talking-actor videos of up to a minute (10 at 480p), 43 Seedance 2.0 or 200 Seedance 2.0 Mini clips a month, taken 2026-10-22
The same credits pay for clips
A month of Plus also covers 200 five-second Seedance 2.0 Mini clips at 5 credits each, 100 five-second Kling v3 Pro clips, 41 eight-second Omni Flash clips or 13 Google Veo 3.1 clips, the counts in the screenshot. By our published rates, clips run from about 25 cents for a five-second Seedance 2.0 Mini clip to about $4 for an eight-second Google Veo 3.1 clip, and about $10 for a full 30-second Seedance 2.5 take, so one plan can pay for a talking ad and the b-roll around it.
The Billing Tab Moves the Price More Than the Plan
On MakeUGC, moving Starter from monthly to yearly billing cuts a video from $11.80 to $5.80. Moving up from Starter to Growth on monthly billing only cuts it to $7.90. Pick the tab before you pick the plan.
Choose MakeUGC when
- you make ten or more talking-actor videos a month
- you can pay a quarter or a year ahead, which takes a Starter video from $11.80 to $8.20 or $5.80
- you want a larger cast: 300+ AI actors on Starter and 1,000+ on Pro, against Novoads' 100+
Choose Novoads when
- you need one or two talking ads a month and want to pay month to month
- 480p is enough for the placement
- your ads lean on Seedance 2.5 clips, which cost less on Novoads Plus than on any MakeUGC tier
For one more talking-actor price list, read what Arcads charges.
A credit is only cheap in a month that uses it, so count the ads you will actually ship, then choose the tab. If that count is one, Novoads Starter is the smaller bill.

Which AI UGC video generator is the best?
On price, it depends on how many ads you make a month. By each vendor's published rates in October 2026, MakeUGC is cheaper per 30-second talking-actor video at 720p from ten videos a month and on any yearly bill, while Novoads costs less for one to five talking ads on monthly billing and, from its Plus plan up, for Seedance 2.5 clips. We have not used MakeUGC hands-on, so this compares price, not output.
How much does it cost to make an AI video?
On MakeUGC a talking-actor video is 100 credits by its API docs, which works out to $3.90 to $11.80 a video across the plans on its pricing page, depending on plan and billing period. On Novoads a talking-actor video of up to a minute is 200 credits at 720p or 100 at 480p, and clips run from about 25 cents for a five-second Seedance 2.0 Mini clip to about $4 for an eight-second Google Veo 3.1 clip, and about $10 for a full 30-second Seedance 2.5 take.
How much do UGC ads cost?
Made with an AI tool, a UGC-style ad costs the plan price divided by the videos its credits buy. MakeUGC's Starter makes five talking-actor videos from 500 credits, $11.80 each on its $59 monthly bill or $5.80 on the yearly one. Novoads makes one 720p talking ad of up to a minute from its $15 Starter month, or five from a month of Plus, at $9.80 each.
How much does it cost to create a video ad?
A 30-second talking-actor ad is one 100-credit generation on MakeUGC and one 200-credit started minute on Novoads at 720p. In dollars that is $5.80 to $11.80 on MakeUGC's Starter, depending on billing, and $9.80 on Novoads Plus or a whole $15 Novoads Starter month, by each vendor's pricing page in October 2026. By the published rates, a 60-second version costs the same on both.
Key Takeaways
- MakeUGC's pricing page, read on October 21, 2026, opens on yearly billing: Starter $29, Growth $39 and Pro $79 a month billed yearly, or $59, $79 and $149 on monthly billing, for 500, 1,000 and 2,000 to 5,000 credits a month.
- MakeUGC's API docs charge 100 credits for one talking-actor video up to a 1,500-character script, so Starter makes five a month: $11.80 each on monthly billing and $5.80 on the yearly bill.
- The billing tab moves the price more than the plan does. Yearly billing halves Starter's cost per video, but it is one $348 charge, credits do not roll over, and the refund window is three business days.
- Novoads bills a talking actor by the started minute, 200 credits at 720p or 100 at 480p, so a 30-second ad costs $9.80 of Plus at $49 a month, and a 60-second ad costs the same.
- At 720p MakeUGC is the cheaper talking-actor meter from ten videos a month and on every yearly bill. Novoads costs less for one to five ads a month on monthly billing, and Novoads Plus undercuts every MakeUGC tier on a Seedance 2.5 clip: 70 credits for ten seconds against MakeUGC's 160.
